Jenkins measures in at 6 feet, 204 pounds at the Combine. Numerous mock drafts, including those of Mel Kiper and Todd McShay, have Jenkins going to the packers with the number nine pick.

I started seeing a couple mock drafts that have the Jags taking him at eight. That would suck.

ReplyDelete1)First Jenkins ran a slow time at the combine in the 4.5s. So now there is talk about him being a safety, which there isn't as big of need as corner for the Packers. (I'm still not convinced about the 40 being the make or break. Personally, he is a football player and a playmaker. I think he would be fine at the cornerback spot.)
2. If Jenkins is off the board, the Packers can go after an outside linebacker, such as Brown, Orakpo, Maybin, or even English, who might be a reach with the 10th pick.
Things never work out they are expected when you get past the fifth pick.
My advice is don't get to attached to anybody.
